From 1861-1865, Corinth, situated at the crossing of the two longest, standard gauge railroads in the South, was of strategic importance to both the Union and Confederacy. Visit the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center, a National Park Service facility; the Verandah-Curlee House, headquarters for numerous generals during the War; the Crossroads Museum, a treasure of local history; and the Corinth Coca-Cola Museum. Not to miss is Corinth's downtown with its historic business and Borroum's Drug Store, home of the signature delight, the Slugburger!
