Tourists are encouraged to visit the Sapulpa Historical Museum to see how Sapulpa has changed from a small trading post in 1850 to a thriving town today. The museum showcases fascinating artifacts from the Creek Indian Tribe and the town’s earliest businesses and schools. Admission is free; however, museum visitors are encouraged to make a donation. Group tours are available by appointment only.
Sapulpa is also home to the Heart of Route 66 Auto Museum. Located in a decommissioned armory this museum boasts an impressive collection of classic cars and memorabilia. Groups can see some of the most noteworthy cars in history. On the other side of the museum, visitors can see exhibits that focus on the building’s military history.
For groups interested in sports, the Sapulpa Municipal Golf Course features 6,675 scenic yards where groups can play 18 holes.
