Flight 93 National Memorial is the final resting place of the passengers and crew of Flight 93, who thwarted the terrorists’ attempts to reach the Capitol on September 11, 2001. At Flight 93, we honor their legacy every day. As the only 9/11 site that is National Park Service run, Flight 93 National Memorial is a unique experience where the memorial landscape is built in harmony with nature. The Visitor Center is open from 9-5pm daily and an educational experience for all who visit; the park grounds open from sunrise to sunset.
The Friends of Flight 93 are the nonprofit partner of Flight 93 National Memorial. As stewards of this memorial, our mission is to ensure that the story of Flight 93 remains accessible, relevant and inspirational to present and future generations. As Friends of Flight 93, we welcome worldwide all who would join us in honoring the sacrifice and courage of the passengers and crew of Flight 93 by supporting the mission of the Flight 93 National Memorial with volunteers, resources, and civic engagement, so as to inspire all who visit with the Flight 93 story.
