Meet between Lexington and Cincinnati to find Ark Encounter, the home of Noah’s Ark, an interactive museum experience standing at 51 feet high, 510 feet long and 85 feet wide. The wooden structure prevails above Kentucky’s luscious greenery and fresh waters to reveal amazing facts about the world-renowned religious symbol.
Groups visiting the Ark will find exhibits showcasing historic scenes of where Noah and his family lived and the animals they sheltered during the flood. Visitors will also be able to see what the world looked like before the flood hit and its aftermath.
The surrounding areas of the park are filled with other fascinating finds, including the Ararat Ridge Zoo, Fossil Find and Extreme Zip Lines. At the Ararat Ridge Zoo, groups will interact with some of the animals kept safely during the flood, such as camels, donkeys, emus, kangaroos, lizards and more. The zoo even offers rides, Bible lessons and feeding sessions for young visitors.
Groups will discover artifacts on the Fossil Find and, finally, make their way to the Ark Encounter’s zip lines for an exhilarating ride.
